The

Malaysia ^ _ ^
Malaysia
is a country that belongs to the tropical rainforest. As a result, Malaysia has
the natural resources are very beautiful. One of them is a waterfall. Malaysia
is divided into five parts, which is the zone is to the north, east, central, south
and Sabah and Sarawak. Each waterfall that represent each zone has its own
beauty.
NORTH
ZONE :
1. Perlis : Taman Rekreasi Bukit Ayer
This
forest area was not only a great location for a picnic and relax but also
suitable for educational activities. The area is adjacent to Forest Herbs,
Garden Wine Department of Agriculture, Primate Park, Botanical Garden and Snake
Park.
2. Kedah : Lata Bayu Waterfall
Lata
Bayu, also known as Mohammed Asam Jawa, is a waterfall in the Marine district
of Kedah. Lata Bayu is popular among the locals who go there to play with the
water. It is particularly crowded during the weekends Kedah, which fall on
Fridays and Saturday.
3. Penang : Batu Ferringhi Waterfall
It is also known as Chin Farm
Waterfall. The water coming down Chin Farm Waterfall is a clear spring water. We
came on a hot day, so there is not much water at the falls. During the rainy
season, the water often cascade over the rocks which are presently barren,
except for places where the water has carved out streams on the rocks.
4. Perak : Royal Belum Waterfall
Royal Belum Watrerfall located
near to River Chase and very close to the border of Thailand. It requires about
10 minutes of jungle trekking to the waterfall. Why is this waterfall named Mes
Fall? It is because of the shining stones found in the stream, which are
shining like gold (Mes in Malay language means gold).
EAST COAST ZONE :
1. Kelantan : Jeram Linang
Linang rapids (also written
rafting Lenang) is one of the earliest waterfalls to be developed for
recreation in Kelantan. The river flowing through rapids Linang is quite rough
during the rainy season. Also, there are many sharp boulders in the river bed.
Thus, it might not be advisable to swim in rapids Linang.
2. Terengganu : Kenyir Waterfall
It also known as Lasir
Waterfall. This area is proposed to be a non-developing area of large
or heavy physical structure development so we can do many jungle activity.
3. Pahang : Sri Mahkota Waterfall
It is a very beautiful fall,
almost vertical. Not a lot of water during our visit, but the setting is very
romantic and there is a big pool, perfect for a bath. It takes an effort to
reach remote this fall, but it is definitely worth it.
CENTRAL ZONE :
1. Selangor : Kanching Waterfall
It may come as a surprise for
some, but quite near to the bustling metropolis of Kuala Lumpur, there are many
beautyful nature spots and one of the famous one is Kanching Waterfall.
SOUTH ZONE :
1. Negeri Sembilan : Jeram Tengkek Waterfall
Forest Tengkek rafting (rafting Tengkek
Recreational Forest) is located in the Forest Junction Serting Ulu (and Ulu
Forest Reserve) which is a lowland dipterocarp forest. Tengkek comprises
interesting rapids rocky landscapes with charming waterfalls along fast-flowing
River Toe (Toe River) and the Code (the Code River), which are suitable for
picnics, relaxing dips and recreational activities.
2. Melaka : Asahan Waterfall
Asahan Waterfall is an ideal
recreation area for all ages. This recreation area is equipped with
infrastructure facilities including accommodation. Among the main attractions
of this recreation center is the rivers and waterfalls which are refreshing and
cooling.
3. Johor : Jeram Tinggi Waterfall
Here is another less famous Mountain Heights
summit trail - Ulu Jementah trail. It takes the longest time and is the
toughest trail to the summit. Normally hikers take only one day up and down
from the summit, but via Ulu Jementah yout need 2 days to reach the summit.
Along the route there are 5 checkpoints and rafting Jeram Tinggi is the first
checkpoint.
Sabah & Sarawak Zone :
1. Sabah : Madai Waterfall
After heavy rain, both will
merge into one huge vertical fall. Though the water is murky, it is clean and
cooling. However, some visitors can not resist to take a swim under this
beautiful waterfall. However, some visitors can not resist to take a swim under
this beautiful waterfall because its so deep. Madai is in a limestone area, so
I wonder if this hole connects to an underground cave or river.

Kubah National Park is located
about 20 kms west from Kuching city, also one of the most accessible national
parks in Sarawak that have a wonderfull waterfall. Kubah waterfall also known as majestic waterfall that offer beautiful clear watercourses
